I started blogging about 5 years ago.
In the beginning, it didn’t appear that I have any natural flair for writing, which made the whole process challenging. I kept going and over a period of time, it felt like words are falling in place more naturally than ever before.
As soon as I took this up as a habit, I realized that blogging helps me to think more clearly and grasp/retain more if I read something and write it in my own words.
While most of it has been casual hobby writing, this was the first time I participated in writer’s contest and ended up winning it! Phew!
There is a still a long way to do, but this acknowledgement came at a time when I was least expecting it. Thanks to Globallogic for encouraging budding writers like me to continue their writing passion with a winning spirit.
