How many times have we missed getting insights from videos without actually having to watch them! These desired insights could be anything- ranging from who features in the videos to what is being said there. Last few days, I spent sometime analyzing the different video analysis tools that can solve such problems – and by far, I have found Microsoft’s Video Indexer to be the coolest one. Some of its typical benefits over other tools include:
- Not only face detection, but celebrity identification.
- Recognize emotional state of the speakers featured in the video.
- Extract text that is (visually) displayed in the video.
- Translate it into multiple languages.
- Perform search based on what is said and you will be redirected to exactly that point.
