What does it mean? Google recently announced inclusion of 3d models and augmented reality within search results. This means when you search for certain selected objects (like animals), you will be able to place, view and interact with them right from your own space.
How will it work? Search for an object on google via your mobile phone’s browser. Scroll down a bit until you see an option for “View in 3D” – that can be clicked on to load the object. Further clicking on the AR option will let you experience the object in your location through your mobile phone’s camera.
What will it look like? See attached video.
