Digital transformation necessitates the need for an enterprise to be truly agile in at least the following three aspects:

1) IT agility– is a measure of how efficiently the IT infrastructure of an organization can respond to changing market conditions. This includes application of appropriate design, architecture and devops principles.

2) Organization agility– refers to non-technical resources that an organization has for rolling out IT capabilities. This majorly includes addressing cultural nuances while embracing digital transformation and getting support for people who create/use/promote company’s technological initiatives.

3) Data agility– refers to organization’s nimbleness to extract information from the data it holds. This includes setting up of apt analytics and/or business intelligence systems so that business owners can create their own reports without waiting for technologists to publish it for them.
