At a time when everyone is trying to be something, author of Immortal talks calls himself as nothing or Shunya. He has anonymously gifted this book of supreme spiritual knowledge to the readers of this world. Although there are several speculations about the author(s) being a group of saints from Himalayas, no one has come out in open yet to claim the fame of this book.

For those of you who wish to unravel the mysteries of life and death, laws of the universe and psychology of the human mind, this book is a must-read.

My personal take-away: 

Never before have I read a book that leaves you with a feeling of having meditated for several hours. It has the potential of showing you a new way of thinking about your prosperity, life and death.

Summary: 

The book contains the summary of the teachings imparted by Lord Hanuman to his ardent disciples. The talks lead the disciples through the mysteries of life and death, and enlighten them on how to lead a detached life.

It is neatly divided into 6 parts, with each part focusing on a special area as stated below:

• Chapter 1- The Alternate Mother explains the illusory nature of this world through a thrilling story.
• Chapter 2- Mermaid explains scientific and logical explanations of Karma and soul. It also describes concepts of attachment, detachment and flow of bad Karma.
• Chapter 3- Describing the Indescribable deeply explains the concepts of time and space. Since the concept explained here is a bit complex, this chapter might need several reads.
• Chapter 4- The Strings of Time describes our spiritual evolution in terms of number of T-strings a soul possesses. It helps you to see beyond beliefs, and move towards the state of Shunya, the emptiness. The amazing concept of Shunya tunnels helps to realize that this world would exist even if we aren’t there to experience it. The soul can detach itself from this world and its sufferings.
• Chapter 5- Defeating Death reveals the scientific explanation behind bad dreams.
• Chapter 6- Cursed Souls imparts the knowledge of Surrahs-Asurrahs in a way that it’s much easier to implement in day-to-day life.
